Get into Gear with Fall Training
Although it’s important to prepare for winter — the most demanding season in terms of safety and upkeep — you should make time for nonwinter training as well. “Even though some of the topics are ‘evergreen,’” says Seth Norton, PDRMA Risk Management Consultant, “it’s always a good idea to sign up for a refresher.
“Since laws constantly change, our legal updates are particularly relevant, and everyone knows the downside of not performing building inspections,” adds Norton. “And agency leaders can also benefit from reminders about their role in injury prevention and safety.”
