Risk Management Review Update
We kicked off (pun intended) the 2023 Risk Management Review (RMR) year in January, getting all Kickoff Forms to agencies by Jan. 31. This year, all member agencies will work with their assigned Risk Management Consultant through the Kickoff meeting, establishing SMART Goal(s) and completing the Slip, Trip and Fall form for all major facilities by the deadlines (below). There are also a few new developments to keep in mind.

in2vate Name Change
Formerly known as in2vate, in 2023 this platform is now called iLearningEngines and is located at ins.ilearningengines.com. This is where we store all RMR data and where you’ll find the RMR online forms. Consider updating bookmarks and have your IT department whitelist this domain so you continue to receive emails.
Tight Timeline — Don’t Forget These Deadlines
After you receive your Kickoff Form, review and return it within 30 days. You must then complete your agency’s Kickoff Meeting by April 1. You can expect to begin SMART Goal training during the first quarter of 2023 and must create those goals by July 1. Lastly, you’ll receive a Slip, Trip and Fall form for your major facilities to complete as part of your agency’s self-review by Nov. 15.

Incentive Update
For 2023, the Risk Management Committee voted to use the following criteria to determine each agency’s 2023 financial incentive.
- Members are eligible to receive $500 for completing the Kickoff process, which includes returning the Kickoff form within 30 days of receiving notification from your Risk Management Consultant and completing the Kickoff Meeting/Discussion no later than April 1.
- Members are eligible to receive $500 for defining and creating SMART Goals — based on the results of the 2022 RMR Target Form and 2023 Kickoff Meeting/Discussion — by July 1.
- Members are eligible to receive $500 for completing applicable SMART Goal action steps and the Slip, Trip and Fall Self-assessments for all major facilities by Nov. 15. They must also complete any agreed upon activities (i.e., private or regional training classes and/or vendor approved activities such as OSHA programming or ergonomic and back safety classes) by Dec. 1.
