Virtual Trainings for What You Need to Know

RMR Vendor Solution Documentation Due Dec. 31

RMR Vendor Solution Documentation Due Dec. 31

Nothing can stop an idea whose time has come, not even a pandemic! PDRMA is continuing to update and improve its Risk Management Review (RMR) by finishing re-engagement meetings with all members virtually and conducting limited (and socially distanced) on-site field visits when needed.

We’ve been “meeting” members to discuss current operations, staffing levels and operational requirements along with identifying their biggest risk management needs. We’re also identifying those agencies that can help us continue to pilot the RMR, including field testing select forms.

Vendor Solutions Process

You can still work with vendors to identify and implement solutions to your risk management issues, as the process remains essentially the same — except activities shift to virtual procedures whenever possible.

If you’re interested in investigating an opportunity, simply follow these guidelines:

  • Your PDRMA Risk Management Consultant (RMC) and your agency discuss and determine potential needs.
  • Your RMC completes a vendor-solution subsidy request and submits it to PDRMA Risk Management Services for approval.
  • After receiving approval, you work directly with the vendor to schedule your service — while establishing and observing social distancing and safety guidelines for when the vendor arrives.
  • You are responsible for securing an agreement requiring additional insured status for your agency and a certificate of insurance.
  • The vendor will invoice you directly, and you are responsible for paying that invoice.
  • You must submit a copy of the training roster (if applicable) to PDRMA along with any reports and a copy of the paid invoice.
  • PDRMA issues a reimbursement check to your agency for the amount agreed upon.
  • You must submit all required documentation for services conducted in 2020 by Dec. 31.
