Police Law Institute Online Training for PDRMA Members

PDRMA continues to provide member police staffs with training opportunities through the Police Law Institute’s (PLI) online legal training programs at no additional cost through its latest negotiated agreement with PLI.  

“All full-time, part-time and seasonal officers have a 12-month subscription to PLI’s Monthly Legal Updates and Review (MLUR) as well as access to online legal training programs,” explains Tim Lenac, PDRMA Risk Management Services Supervisor. The national leader in police training, PLI has more than 50,000 police officers nationwide that use its training programs.

The primary goal of the training is to inform officers and keep them safe, which also reduces the risk of civil liability. PLI works with attorneys and lawyers to stay current with legislative changes as well...Full Article
